Portofino

Portofino is a municipality in the province of Genoa located at the southeastern end of the promontory of the same name, on the picturesque inlet formed by the Punta di Portofino. It still has a very picturesque appearance, with the town clustered around the small square facing onto the harbor. The main economic activity is tourism, favored by excellent accommodation facilities. The promontory, characterized by its lush Mediterranean vegetation, culminates in the Monte di Portofino at a height of 610 m above sea level and juts out from the Riviera di Levante, forming the Gulf of Tigullio to the east.
